This will most likely be my last entry for 2009, since I will most probably be too busy to blog tomorrow.

I’m ending my year with a bang: tomorrow, I have an appointment with my dentist to finalize a root canal treatment that I had several weeks ago. The tooth currently has a temporary filling, and hopefully tomorrow, the dentist will put in a new crown. Fun, yeah?

I still don’t have a clear idea of what I’m going to do tomorrow night (New Year’s Eve), but I’m sure it will be mandatory family stuff. My mom’s making roast beef, and I’m not going to miss that.

Things are going to be busy at the beginning of 2010. I’ve been invited to our first volunteers’ meeting for church. Plus, this morning I received an SMS from a bunch of people from high school, asking if I’d like to go out sometime in January since I missed our high school reunion.

To be honest, 2009 flew by a little too quickly for me. I hope 2010 is as enjoyable, but not so quick. :D Happy New Year, everyone!

If you asked me what my all-time favorite band is, I’d say The Hush Sound. Unfortunately, the band has gone on hiatus, since they want to work on individual projects for now. But that doesn’t mean they’re not making music.

Gold Motel is Greta’s (one of the band’s members) solo project. She recently released an EP entitled The Gold Motel EP. On December 18th, I immediately went and got a digital download when I found out that the EP had been released.

It sounds a lot like Goodbye Blues, The Hush Sound’s third album. And that means I pretty much loved the whole EP. While I love The Hush Sound, and I wish they’d all get back together, I’m still looking forward to the prospect of a full-length album by Gold Motel.
